Timing

We will endeavour to carry out the treatments in accordance with the programme set out in the proposal document. We plan to start work on an agreed date and the subsequent treatments will depend on the speed of activity of this treatment and suitable weather conditions following. The weather may play the biggest part in timeliness of work.

We (The Lawnologist) will do everything we can to offer our customers the best value and to remain competitive. Our quotes are valid for 30 days from submission.
A variety of events can influence our pricing and material costs and treatment costs may rise with little or no notice. We will do our very best to notify of you of any increase before they take place.

Satisfaction

We shall do our best to ensure the highest professional standard is attained in accordance with your expectation. However, such factors may occur which are beyond our control such as weather, pests and other treatments, poor sub soil, poor mowing practice, dehydration, damage and pet degradation responsible to or carried out by a third party or the lawn owner.

Underground Pipework/Services

During mechanical scarification/aeration the tines are excavating below the surface. We cannot be held responsible for damage to unseen pipe/cable and it is the full responsibility of the lawn owner only to highlight any services/pipes or cabling prior to works commencing.

Variations

Depending on the effectiveness or otherwise of treatments it may be necessary to amend/revise the programme of treatments. This will be done with your consent and you will always be consulted.

Products Used

All agrochemicals/fertilisers will be used in accordance with the manufacturer recommendations. Product recommendations are designed to ensure control of pests, disease, and weeds with maximum regard for the user, consumer and environment.

Access to Property

We will require access to you desired treatments areas on the dates agreed, you do not need to be at home for these to take place. If we are unable to gain access, we will re-visit later the same day to try and complete your treatment, after which we will try and agree another suitable date. Failure to complete treatment a third time will result in forfeit of that particular seasonal application

Obstacles in Lawn

We take great pride in trying to ensure that you have access to the best possible treatments with the best possible machinery that is always free from contamination and clean. We kindly ask that prior to us visiting, all animal faeces are removed from the lawn and children’s toys are (if possible) relocated. If we find that animal faeces are preventing us from carrying out work, we will politely ask that you are able to remove it. We reserve the right to charge a nominal fee of £5 per item removed by us as a very last resort

Your Responsibilities

We will do everything possible to ensure that you get value from our treatments and pride in our lawns, and we like to have a working partnership with every customer. The responsibility is with the lawn owner to ensure that the lawn is watered sufficiently, and care taken as per our advice. We cannot be held responsible for problems that can occur that ordinarily would be the responsibility of the lawn owner.
